Varsolo Sunio

Assistant Professor, Sciences and Engineering, University of Asia and the Pacific

Dr. Varsolo Sunio is an Assistant Professor at the School of Sciences and Engineering and Director of the Industrial Engineering Program at UA&P. He has been a visiting researcher at Portland State University (Fulbright) and the University of Tokyo (Sumitomo Foundation). He earned his PhD in Urban Management from Kyoto University in 2018. His expertise includes public transport reform, digitalization, electrification, and sustainable finance. He has worked with the Department of Transportation and Department of Science and Technology and has published extensively on Philippine transport in leading international journals.
