Professor Andy Harland is a Professor of Sports Technology at Loughborough University and is a world-leading expert in sports equipment design, manufacture and testing. He has done extensive work on footballs used in major tournaments, most notably World Cup footballs with adidas, and standards for cricket helmets used throughout the world. He has worked with various International federations including FIFA and ICC, national governing bodies including The FA and ECB and some of the world's leading sports brands.
