Anna Domènech

Anna Domènech is a European board-certified pathologist (DVM, PhD, DECVP) with 18 experience in experimental pathology. She started her career in the Discovery area of the pharmaceutical company Almirall, being involved from target validation to lead optimization. From 2016 she has worked as a toxicologic pathologist in several CROs. Shortly after joining Charles River Evreux (France) in 2023, she became a fully remote pathologist, thanks to the feasibility of digital slide evaluation.She is eager to bring experimental pathology closer to veterinary pathology residents, and enjoys her participation in scientific rounds at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, or collaboration in laboratory animal pathology seminars. She has been a member of the ECVP Exam Committee for 6 years, and is now involved in the ECVP/ESTP initiative of training residents on the Comprehensive part of the European exam.
