Begonya Garcia

Begonya Garcia is a British board-certified veterinary pathologist (DVM, FRCPath) with 20 years of experience in toxicologic pathology. She started her career at Charles River Edinburgh (UK) and relocated to Charles River Evreux (France) in 2021. In the Evreux site, she was the first remote pathologist abroad, testing and helping to set up this innovative format.Throughout her career she has gained wide experience working with pharmaceutics, agrochemicals and the veterinary drug industry. She has been very active in the toxicologic pathology world by being part of the council of the BSTP and organizing courses and conferences with BSTP and ESTP. She is still involved in educational activities with the Edinburgh and Barcelona University participating in laboratory animals training courses. She enjoys the variety of studies and clients she works with and the collaboration with colleagues across the company.
