Joshua Lew McDermott

Joshua Lew McDermott is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Southeastern Louisiana University. He researches the informal economy, informal work, and the rights of informal workers with a focus on urban Sierra Leone and Mexico. He is interested in the political economy of inequality, work, and poverty across the globe, and is passionate about advocating for a more just and equitable economic and political system.
