She manages a variety of social science journals and has worked in academic publishing for over five years. Within Sage, Julia sits on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Taskforce looking at content within the journals publishing program. She is leading the cultural shift in peer review language for Sage Journals and is committed to advocating and progressing belonging for marginalized people within academia.
