Lola Evans graduated in 2022 with a 1st in contemporary dance at London Contemporary Dance school. She dedicated her final dissertation on study into sudden cardiac death in athletes and dancers. Lola currently works in haematology in the NHS and holds an active interest in dance. She anticipates the chance to further her studies within the field of biomedicine and hopes to pursue a career within healthcare science.

While research on SCD in athletes has grown, there’s limited data on dancers, raising questions about their risk and the need for improved screening and diagnostic methods.
