Professor Sheffali Gulati is a globally recognized expert in Pediatric Neurology, with pioneering contributions to autism research, clinical practice, and policy development. Professor Sheffali Gulati is currently serving as the Professor and Faculty In-charge of the Child Neurology Division, Department of Pediatrics at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. She has had the privilege of pioneering the first DM Pediatric Neurology program in South Asia, and over the years has mentored more than 200 trainees, including DM residents, PhD scholars, and MD students.Over the years, she has been deeply humbled by several recognitions, including the INSAR Fellowship (2025), the National Women Bio-scientist Award from DBT, and the Dr. I A Modi Award for clinical excellence. Her work remains driven by the vision of improving care, outcomes, and quality of life for children with neurological and developmental disorders.
