Visiting Reader, Sustainability and Education, Canterbury Christ Church University

Dr Stephen Scoffham is a Visiting Reader in Sustainability and Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK and was Geographical Association President (2018-19). An ex teacher, educational author and atlas consultant, Stephen has written widely on primary school geography, global learning and environmental education. He brings a career-long interest in sustainability to all these activities, along with his involvement in research and scholarship. He has recently contributed a chapter to Carden, C (ed) (2022) Primary Teaching by Learning Matters, entitled What is sustainability, why is it important and what does it mean for my teaching?
