Agreement

Sage has an agreement with the Qatar Foundation to assist with open access article processing charges (APCs) for eligible authors.

To qualify for the agreement, the corresponding author must be affiliated with the Qatar Foundation and have an accepted article in an eligible journal that enters production between January 01, 2025, and December 31, 2026. 

Publish open access in a subscription journal
As a corresponding author you can publish open access in your choice of subscription journal offering hybrid open access in the Sage Humanities & Social Sciences package free of charge, with no APC to pay.

Publish in a gold open access journal
As a corresponding author you can publish your article in a gold open access journal free of charge, with no APC to pay.

Charges other than the author APC may still apply, please refer to individual journal submission guidelines.

The agreement is open to corresponding authors affiliated with the Qatar Foundation institutional members.
