Agreement

Sage has an agreement with SIKT to assist with open access article processing charges (APCs) for eligible authors.

To qualify for the agreement, the corresponding author must be affiliated with an institution that is part of the SIKT agreement and have an accepted article in an eligible journal that enters production between January 01, 2020, and December 31, 2026.

Publish open access in a subscription journal
As a corresponding author you can publish open access in your choice of 900+ subscription journals in either the 2019 Sage Premier package or the 2025 Sage Premier package, which offer hybrid open access publishing (Sage Choice), can be published open access, free of charge.

Publish in a gold open access journal
As a corresponding author you can publish your article in a gold open access journal with a 20% discount on the APC

Charges other than the author APC may still apply, please refer to individual journal submission guidelines.

The agreement is open to corresponding authors affiliated with SIKT institutional members.
