Colleen McGrath is an Associate Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy at Western University and the Director of the Vision Loss in Later Life Research Lab (VITAL). Her research is focused on environmental infuences on the occupational participation of older adults with age-related vision loss. Her research is situated in critical theoretical approaches, including critical gerontology and disability studies. Professor McGrath’s work adopts a qualitative approach, often utilizing participatory methods of data collection.
