Julia Foster is an occupational therapist who has spent the majority of her career working in the field of low vision/blindness rehabilitation, starting out as a high-tech visual aids assessor for the Assistive Devices Program at OCAD University’s Inclusive Design Research Centre, and was most recently working at the Vision Rehabilitation Clinic at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She has a strong passion for accessibility, and has worked with various healthcare, research, education, and community partners on projects related to the healthcare journey and the accessibility of healthcare for people with low vision, blindness, deafblindness, or other types of vision loss
