Dr Robert A. Phillips is senior lecturer in entrepreneurship at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester and has a Ph.D. in biochemistry. He researches student entrepreneurship and startup funding, and runs entrepreneurship courses for scientists and engineers both on and off curriculum. Robert is also a regular writer on entrepreneurship and student enterprise in the media and has written both opinion pieces and comments for a number of publications.
