Xin Deng, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Business Economics and Innovation at Alliance Manchester Business School and a member of the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR). She studies how firms make strategic decisions, innovate, and compete, and what these choices mean for markets and industry dynamics. Her research has appeared in leading management and innovation journals and has attracted funding from UKRI, the ESRC, and the EPO.
