Third party submitters

The involvement of unauthorised third parties, such as papermills, in the submission of research to Sage journals is not permitted. Activities such as, but not limited to, suspicions of authorship for sale, manipulation of peer review processes, any other evidence suggesting the wholesale generation of research submissions will result in the submission being returned to the authors and will not be considered for publication. When concerns are raised after publication, the article will be retracted in line with Sage policies and COPE guidelines. The Sage corrections and retractions policy may be reviewed in conjunction with this policy.
